Puppy Love by Victor Alvia

Puppy Love
by Victor Alvia

Please excuse my language,
for how I choose to say this:
Some guys chase ass,
I chase class,
some guys want tits,
I like wits,
all they want is pu$$y,
I just want mentality,
I don't want a hoe,
I want something more.
I know the words I wrote,
really aren't the best,
but I just really hope,
that your not like the rest.

First Date by Victor Alvia

First Date
by Victor Alvia

Sitting at the booth,
feeling so nervous,
I try to keep cool,
looking through the wine list.
I Got here extra early,
I’m usually very late,
trying to make an impression,
for our very first date.

Whenever you arrive,
I will give it all I got.
I feel like it’s the interview,
for the job that I want.
But after this date,
If we have to part ways.
Just know it was an honor,
To share with you: a plate.

Survivor by Victor Alvia

Survivor
by Victor Alvia

I survived a Lovers Storm,
the story goes like this:
The wind released its strongest force,
to break me into bits.
It didn't love me, it didn't care,
it shattered every limb.
I'm crippled from the center in,
afraid to love again.

A Lovers Storm by Victor Alvia

A Lovers Storm

In between a Lovers Storm
is not where one should be.
In the eye it's calm and warm
seconds away from tragedy.
Once your caught, you will be torn,
there's nothing you can do.
She's in love and your in love,
but not in love with you.

I'm a digital man,
in a digital world,
playing digital games,
reading digital words,
on a digital screen,
from a digital phone,
counting digital time,
in a digital home,
I take digital shots,
on a digital nikon,
some people think,
I'm a digital icon,
but then a guy says,
my pix look to fake,
to much effects, unreal.
I say,
"Hey mister, say what you want,
but do me a favor and look at your watch,
do you know where you are?
We pay our bills on a digital card.
nothing is real, call me bizarre,
but this is my style, my digital art."

Til Death Do Us Part by Victor Alvia

Til Death Do Us Part
by Victor Alvia

On the year of the moon, I got married.
She was an innocent girl, strong and ready.
The timing was flawless, nothing regretting,
We had the best vows, the perfect wedding.
Alone,
we explored each others bodies, our hands took flight,
they traveled to every cornerstone, landed on every site,
we kissed at every capital, and pushed deep into the night.
On the first year of marriage, I died.
She became depressed, alone, unable to fight.
She lost hope, control, and was unable to hold her own.
3 Years Ago, she remarried.
She has a new guy.
Honey,
What happens when you die?
Is it him you see or I?
What happens to our love, our "death do us part"?
Who comes out clean at the end of this mess?
If it's him you choose, then with whom am I left?
If you bare his child, he will not have my face.
I went from being first, to now, second place.
My God, was I warned of whom I should choose?
Should I have picked a church girl and not someone like her?
So many questions, he will not explain,
til that time comes, in heaven I wait.

To All by Victor Alvia

To All

there is this,
there is that,
there's whatever you find,
you can have it all,
except lost time.

Hater by Victor Alvia

Hater
by Victor Alvia

Trash me, bash me, you witless fool.
Smart in the brain, but dumb in the mouth.
Judge me, hate me for what I do,
but you don't have a clue of what I've been through.
If only you would slow down before you spoke,
turn the other way before blowin' smoke,
get all the facts before talkin' smack,
you'd still have my respect, but you don't ---
Fact.

Black Magic by Victor Alvia

Black Magic
by Victor Alvia

Its scent is a call you'll never forget,
dark, warm, elegant.
In its aroma your ideas nest,
eagerly, patient, waiting your breath.
Inhale it slow,
conceive its ecstasy,
let them flow,
then release reality,
energy, strength, ease affliction,
reliever of stress, morning addiction.

Where is She? by Victor Alvia

maybe I'm too picky,
maybe I'll see,
maybe I'm not ready,
or maybe it's me.

Grateful by Victor Alvia

Grateful
by Victor Alvia

What a beautiful day,
What a beautiful day.
It feels so good to be able to say,
some people can't see,
some people can't hear,
some people can't walk,
or feel this way.
What a beautiful day,
What a beautiful night,
surrounded by lights,
neon and red.
How sad it must be,
to lay in bed,
no longer to see,
the future ahead.
I thank you so much,
not thankful enough,
for giving today
a beautiful day.

Go To Sleep! by Victor Alvia

Go To Sleep!
by Victor Alvia

Distraction, Noise!
Horrible, Loud!
Please go to bed
you horrible sound.
You break my concentration
I cannot think.
Artistic voice
that cannot sing.
Oh what next,
smoke in the air?
Lungs are precious
I know you don't care.
Silence, please!
I want to read!
No more disruptions,
let me breathe.
Give me ten-minutes,
I'll make the best,
to write this poem
and put it to rest.

Tragic by Victor Alvia

Tragic
by Victor Alvia

Crash. Boom. Silence.
Panic. Shock. Real.
Unexpected. Sirens.
Firefighter. Hero.
Brave. Media. Tears.
Tower 1. Demolished.
Bomb. Collapse. Weird.
Tower 2. Lost.

What is happening on this very day?
Who could do such things?
Who can put my pain away?
And mask all my dreams?
Terrified. Dead. Alliance.
Unable to Comprehend,
Terrorism. War. Defiance.
9/11.
A Moment of Silence.
