They Posed Nude On A Calendar that Sold for $10

WCAX -- Ever since a group of English women shed their clothes and bared all for a fundraiser, naked calendars have become quite the rage. One survey found 556 naked fundraising calendars made between 1996 and 2007. Add the UVM Prudent Student Calendar to the list.

The Prudent Student Calendar is the brainchild of 2009 University of Vermont graduate Jamie Seiffer. He credits a friend with the idea but Seiffer brought it to fruition.

"It was really interesting," he says. "A lot of clubs were like, 'Naked calendar? You want me to get naked?' and this and that. It was really hard to get people to kind of understand what we were doing."

Groups pay to reserve a month in the calendar then sell copies for $10 a piece. Each club raises at least $500.
