Must Try Food in Chicago #1: Sultan's Market

Me & My Girl Are Trying New Chicago Eats Every Friday.
Today We Went to Sultan's Market on North Avenue (Near Milwaukee & Damen)
We Had The Meat Pie, Egg and Cheese Pie, the Falafel, Kefta Kabob, & the Meat Platter that came with Hummus, Jerusalem Salad, & Your Choice of Rice.

The Experience: Meat Pie tastes great (tastes even better with Feat Cheese on the side). Egg & Cheese Pie looks like a small pizza, but the egg & cheese combination makes this appetizer interesting. My girl LOVED the Falafel (she got it mild), I LOVED the Kefta Kabob (I got it Spicy). The Meat Platter lets you sample all of their meats and it's served with Hummus, Rice (we got the one with onions in it). I never had Hummus or Jerusalem Salad and to be honest, I can't eat them alone. I need to eat it with the platter as a whole. the combination of flavors boosts the overall dish. It was so good, we are going back tomorrow.

Downfall: It's a CASH ONLY spot, so be ready (they do have an ATM Machine Inside). Because we ordered so much we paid $37, but my brother who tagged along only paid $5 for his Meal (so it can be considered cheap eats). It also has a cafeteria setup (like subway) where you walk up & order your food, so your dish might cool faster (which means it won't be as piping hot as most people prefer). If you can look past this, you will LOVE Sultan's Market.
